GuardRite Heavy Duty Steel Barrier Specifications:
The GuardRite Steel Barrier System comes complete with component hardware. When properly installed, these railings are designed to stop a moving vehicle weighing up to 10,000 lb. and traveling up to 4 mph. Typical deflection at this load and speed is 12".
Rails are 12-guage, high tensile steel. All rails are 3" wide and 10" high. Standard rail length is 9'8", which is also the maximum length. Shorter lengths are available.
Railing edges are covered with protective vinyl stripping.
Posts are 1/4" x 4" x 4" structural steel tubing and are available in heights of 17" and 43". The post base plates are 10" x 10" x 5/8" thick. Four 3/4" x 5 1/4" anchors are provided for each post. Posts are supplied complete with aluminum top caps.
All steel surfaces are painted safety yellow and include UV inhibitor. |
