The Safe-T-Gate Light Duty is a low cost, easy-to-operate safety gate personnel barrier that withstands 200 lbs. of force from any direction. It can be used as part of a complete barrier system to provide easy access where needed, or as a stand-alone stand-alone product for other area protection applications.
In addition, use the Safety Gate Light Duty as a low cost solution to help meet the requirements of OSHA Standard 1910.23 regarding "protection for wall openings and holes", such as at loading docks.
Safe-T-Gate Light Duty features include:
• Two (2) Steel Post Columns 43" (1.09m) high x 5" (127mm) diameter
• Two (2) 7" (177.8mm) high x 3" (76.20mm) wide PVC rails with safety striping
• Counterbalance system makes operation easy, requiring less than 25 lbs. of force.
• Gate is upward-biased in fully raised position, and downward-biased in fully lowered position.
• All hardware is included for complete installation
• Safety gates are available for openings from 5'0" (1.524m) up to 10'0" (3.048m) wide
